Simon joined Hoylake Golf Club in 1978 as a
trainee Assistant, to the then Head Professional Bob Boobyer. He
became fully qualified in 1981 and after some time spent playing and
teaching in the UK his first Assistant Professional appointment was
back at Hoylake Golf Club, with Head Professional Bob Boobyer, after
Bob moved on to Eastham Golf Club in the mid 90's, it was a
natural progression for Simon to take the Head Professional post,
since then Simon has remained at Hoylake Golf Club. |
